On another thread I mentioned I was a fan of Contrast Paints. These are my contrast-painted Orks. I went for blue skin just to be different.
Look great! I get a “snow orc” vibe from them with the light blue skin, for sure. What method did you use for the rusty bronze look like on the bolt pistol near the foreground?
Snow orks, eh? I suppose that makes sense. The photograph is exaggerating the blue, mind you. I was imagining them to be cave orks…somehow deprived of the light which makes their skin green.
The rusty metal is leadbelcher washed with agrax earthshade then drybrushed with a lighter silver (cant remember the brand).
