With Patreon policies coming under great scrutiny in the past weeks, is there a way that we can support OPR outside of Patreon?
Thanks,
Robert

I actually wonder whether a subscription is the right way to provide the point system.
But that's completely up to OPA.

No plans for anything like that, sorry.

Ok so dreaming big I could totally see me making a full hardcover rulebook one day that includes all of the rules, armies fluff, pictures, etc. and that could be a one-time purchase thing. Of course that would mean that people are ok with not always having the latest updates and units, but I'm sure some would appreciate it. Who knows, maybe I could make a KS for that one day...

I would second (third?) the motion to offer alternatives to Patreon, such as a Kickstarter or a book on Amazon. Best wishes for a great idea!

Paypal recurring payments are the classic way to do this.

I would totally buy most the rulebooks. I mean I figured the actual books won't more than 200 pages per system

1.) I'd buy a hardback book with art and fluff, etc. Kickstarter, perhaps? 2.) But, I wouldn't stop updating the army lists. That's one of the best things about this - periodic tweaking, etc.

I'm thoroughly uninterested in fluff. Using someone's rules doesn't mean I want to use their world.
As long as the rules stay simple, I don't think I'd by a book.
I'd prefer to buy the build system rather than subscribe to it, though.

Hello @onepageanon,
I've recently discovered one page goodness, and I'd like to support yourself and the community as well, but using Patreon is unfortunately a deal-breaker for me :-(
hopefully posting in this thread will subscribe me to future posts, so if/when an alternate payment model comes up I'll be notified, and able to subscribe.

You could put some of your new artwork on merchandise, for sale.

You could put some of your new artwork on merchandise, for sale. Never really thought about that, but if demand was high enough it could definitely be considered.
