Premise: I'll focus here on things that I like in a different way, so I'm sorry this post could sound harsh or unthankful.
So I'd like to clearly say that I do like the game, even if I prefer other "bigger" and more complex games as my "main games", I love to have GFF available as an option for a quick game when I feel so, and I'm very grateful to OnePageAnon for delivering it for free.
So, what I'd like to see addressed?
First and foremost, TAO Coalition are confusing as they are. There are Drones that are units, and Drones that are upgrades, and in the rules page there is no hint if they should be represented by a model or not. I know that this has been answered on the forum (with a "do whatever you like" answer) but to me this should be indicated in the TAO rules page itself. Or, even better, give the units and the upgrades different names, like call the units Drones and the upgrades Pods, or something like this.
Pretty much this. The other change I would like to see, and I understand it's to one hand a big one, and to the other hand a very marginal one, as it's just a "philosophical" change.
I'd like to see Though, Fast, Slow, Good Shooter, Bad Shooter go away, and the introduction of a proper statline with Movement, Wounds, Shooting, Fighting stats introduced. Because as for now, we already have those (via the aforementioned special rules) but they're not where we would look for them: in the statline.
I understand that keeping the statline simple is an advantage, but the 2-stats statline is just a lie, as we already have movement stat, wounds stat, and different stats for fighting and shooting, they're just hidden in the Special Rules section, that's not where I would look for them at first.
Last, I'd like a third Mercenaries page with stats for models from KT Rogue Trader and WHQ Blackstone Fortress.
Once more: please don't be upset for my criticism. I do like the game and I understand these rules are a work of love given away for free. So thank you for developing them.
