If anybody plays Undead have you played things like just ghosts or skeletons before? I have a good army of undead that I played against eternal wardens and struggled. Not sure if I have to mix the undead or if I just had a bad night lol thoughts?

Could you post what models you have? Maybe then we can give you some tips & tricks.

Sure! I tried to add pictures but they were too big lol so if it helps I was using the ghosts from the AoS Soul Wars box. I was running: 1 Mounted Reaper 1 Ghost Executioner 1 Ghost Knight 1 Ghost jailer 2 Glaive staker squads 2 Ghost Horde Squads The main issue I was having was dealing with wizards and ranged units. Ghosts seem to hit real hard in melee the issue is just getting there before i get blown away lol Am I missing something to help with that? Not sure if I need to run my models as different units instead. ![]() ![]()

Have you seen other armies played? I am curious how much terrain (cover) there was. Was it your army, or lack of protection from ranged attacks?

Definitely try to play terrain to your advantage. All of your units have Strider, so if you set yourself up right around difficult terrain then you will be able to always have the first charge on your enemy. Try to advance whilst hiding behind terrain, and try to put your opponent in check (get 2 units into charge range so that no matter what the opponent does at least 1 of them can get into melee). For your heroes, the Mounted Reaper should run by himself and hide behind other units and terrain, then jump into melee with it's Flying ability. The Ghost Jailor is your only "ranged" unit, so you can hide him in a Ghost Horde to get in range of even the toughest units and still deal automatic wounds to them. Again try to put your enemy in check, set him up in range of 3 units and your opponent will only be able to save 1 of them before you activate. Do you have your opponent's list? Maybe that could help us too!

:0 that makes so much sense lol thank you! I’m pretty new to playing wargames so I don’t know all the hot strats yet.
I was playing into eternal wardens: Castigation squad A ballista Exorcist lord Liberation squad An arcane lord

That's going to be a bit of an uphill battle for you because you have an army that is weak to spells and are facing a lot of wizards. Definitely prioritize those targets first if you can, because as long as wizards are on the table you are a lot more vulnerable.
