I am new to GFF and have been slowly working through a solo campaign. Built and painted a team of Battle Brothers to face down the AI Infected Colony.

I see some tehnolog bits on that tank. Very nice, I got me a few tehnolog tanks lying around I should finish painting. The tehnolog stuff is such good value!

Some fuedal elites. Still need to do the basing and brighten up the plumes and lenses and things. I think I'm also going to put some white waterslide transfers of some sort on the banner and do squigly lines for the purity seal parchments.

Yeah, from the Maker's Cult. My plan is to print about 120 of them for a full company. I also 3d printed an orc truck (well, I'm part way through printing six of them) from Geargutz ( the patreon for orky 3d printers): I discovered that oil based rust paint does a great job hiding any sign it's 3d printed (though with resin printers it's hard to tell some times anyway), but it takes a full 48 hours to dry/cure enough to paint on with acrylics. Parts were still tacky 30+ hours after I sprayed it.

What printer are you using? I'm thinking about doing some 3d printing myself and can't decide between going to some workshop that sells their printer time or buying a home model for myself.

I'm using a photon but wish I spent the extra and got an epax x1. I honestly don't know if it is worth it to own a 3d printer unless you want 3d printing itself to be your hobby. I put in so much time learning how to prepare models for printing, how to use various software, how to operate and maintain the printer, do proper cleaning/post processing of the prints, researching the properties of different resins, etc., that I could have spent building and painting miniatures. Now that I'm on the other side if it, it's cool to set a print going in the morning and get home from work and have 10 miniatures hanging upside down over the resin vat. It's a tough call if it's for a given person though.

Got my battle sisters out and realized I forgot to share them. Had them finished for a little while.

Oooo, slick Sisters! I definitely like the Green/Silver color scheme for them, and it's cool to see them with colored hair.

I'm getting close to finishing my Gauls/Barbarians whom can easily segue into any kind of fantasy game. This gent will be some kind of hero figure.

I don't have pics yet but FINALLY all thirty+ plague marines/brothers (if you want to be legally distinct!) are done. Keep in mind EVERY. SINGLE. MODEL. Was a conversion on some level. Agh.

reverendunclebastard those battle brothers look great! The blue is so vibrant against the dark shoulderpads. andyskinner I like how you did the fell beast in a lighter color scheme than we normally see those. Good choice, and very well done on the wings. kingvitty the hair on those models will really make them stand out on the battlefield! khazil I like how the axe turned out! Where is the figure from? bobsomething I look forward to seeing those conversions! Every single model got converted? Hobby madness!

It's not much, as the most 'conversion' work they got are simple part swap and some cutting/replacing of of the gun so they hold a bolter one handed. Beyond that each has some various blobs of nurgly boils and pustules and no two is alike.
