Hi, newbie here. I came to AoF after being disappointed with GW and AoS.
I recently started reading AoF rules and army lists, calculating how many points my armies are worth in this game. Then I noticed something odd about the Gryph Riders in the Eternal Wardens army. They have the Tough (3) rule, which is the same as every other warden on foot. In comparison, all the other riders have Tough (6) (except the Celestial Lord on Star Dragon: he's got 9).
Unless there's a good reason for the Gryph Riders to have the same Tough value as foot soldiers, it seems like an oversight. Am I missing something or did I spot a mistake in the army list?
The Golem.
PS: Happy new year to everyone!

It's correct, we treat the Gryph Riders as the "lesser" mounts of the Eternal Wardens, kinda like horses in other factions.

Ah I see, I haven't completly broken up yet with AoS rules and I'm still used to these riders having more hit points than the foot soldiers.
Thank you for the explanation!

If it helps in comparison, lots of other mounted races don't necessarily get extra wounds from their mounts, either. They just get faster/nastier. Only suitably large or special ones get extra Toughness.
So for instance an Orc mounted on a normal Boar doesn't get more "Wounds", other than the rider's (so either "one" or Tough 3 if it's a hero).
