Trying to set up a Zombie vs survivors campaign. Which game would be the best.
Was going to try GFF using Gangs of Hive City mix and match from that and zombies from Infected Colonies.
Any suggestions?

You could use WarStuff to have more customizable survivors. Double Tap could work too

IMO, repurposing GFF would be more interesting, WarStuff is kinda bland. I would look at TAO, since they have lots of guns, rather than crazy paladins and stuff. HDF and Rebels are also kinda like that.
Double Tap would also be good. Melee isn't great in Double Tap, but assuming your average zombies are just 1-point units, you could possibly have enough to overwhelm guns. The Poison Gear rule could simulate zombie infection maybe. If it's like a video game horde of zombies, I could see a few Fast or Armored zombies in the mix. Ambush or Ambush+Infiltrate would also be great.
For a zombie survival campaign, you'd probably want a few house rules. I feel like you'd want some kind of destructible terrain, like a barricaded door that zombies can break through. In a campaign, maybe you'd have to spend points to repair them. Tracking infections could be a thing, but I feel like Poison Gear covers that pretty well. There aren't any default campaign rules for Double Tap, so you'd have to borrow from the mainline games or make up your own.

So what do you all think. Using Grimdark Future: Firefight Trying to do a Squad of Troops going up against a Horde of Zombies. Took from Human Defense Force and then Infected Colonies for Zombie group (A) for Zombie Group (B) I used Age of Fantasy Skirmish Vampiric Undead Zombies. Question which should I go with?
========================================================== Infantry Squad [3] 5+ 5+ Assault Rifles (24”, A1), CCWs (A1) 35pts Sniper [1] 6+ 6+ Sniper Rifle (36”, A1, AP(1), Sniper), CCW (A1) Scout, Stealth 30pts Weapons Team [1] 5+ 5+ Heavy Machinegun (36”, A3, AP(1)), CCW (A1) Tough(3) F 40pts ==========================================================
HORDE A Zombies [3] 5+ 5+ Claws (A3) Fearless, Slow - 35pts Zombies [3] 5+ 5+ Claws (A3) Fearless, Slow - 35pts Zombies [3] 5+ 5+ Claws (A3) Fearless, Slow - 35pts
OR
HORDE B Zombies (5) 6+ 6+ Claws (A2) Slow, Undead - 15pts Zombies (5) 6+ 6+ Claws (A2) Slow, Undead - 15pts Zombies (5) 6+ 6+ Claws (A2) Slow, Undead - 15pts Zombies (5) 6+ 6+ Claws (A2) Slow, Undead - 15pts Zombies (5) 6+ 6+ Claws (A2) Slow, Undead - 15pts Zombies (5) 6+ 6+ Claws (A2) Slow, Undead - 15pts Zombies (5) 6+ 6+ Claws (A2) Slow, Undead - 15pts

Depends how smart you want your zombies to be! If you just want to mow down endless ranks of the undead, Horde B seems like the way to go. Your survivors will not ever run out of ammo, so it will feel more like just seeing if you can take them out before they can overwhelm you.
If you go with the Horde A, maybe bump the points up, so that there are more zombies!

you could go with horde B and spice it out with some boomers from the infected colonies list or some other "special" zombies. just to make it feel like it's a challange.
cheers

Using the points calculator, creating a "boss zombie" could be a neat additional challenge.

GFF Gangs of Hive City, with Human Defence League; and most definitely Infected Colonies. And perhaps, MAYBE, one or two creatures from Alien Hives (used as mutated animals); just as a suggestion.

Crazy Idea I just had, Why not use some Hero units as the survivors? That would make them a bit more Unique (and survivable) as well is making some Massive swarms with the points increase.
