During the course of the game, we encountered several queries, and I hope to glean some answers from the keen minds here:
1) Precision Rig - does it boost only the ship's primary weapon, or does it impact any Active Components as well? 2) Hangar Bay - seems like this is a bit underpowered, being only 6" AND only attacking Scouts. Can't we launch bombing strikes against enemy capital ships?
We wondered about the Hangar Bay too, but after playing (steampunk navy stuff) with a lot of scouts deploying, it felt like we could rename it AA and call it there. We have a carrier model, but it seems like it won't get much use because the battle is at a short enough range that it makes sense for all the wings to be up in the air before the dice start rolling, or that they're nearby land-based air wings. Perhaps there could be a component or two that help simulate carriers? Perhaps a chance to generate another scout on a 5-6 every turn? That might only be 1-2 a game.
Also, we messed up the Precision Rig as well. My Giga cannons seemed pretty strong.
