Hi, I just found out about GF today and started looking into assembling some of my 40k collection for a game, and looking at the weapon options for Alien Hives in particular had me wondering:
Particularly ive been wondering about the difference between razor claws and serrated claws, and how they relate to models. Do serrated claws represent the slightly larger talons you can put on tyranid models for example, while razor claws are meant to be the smaller ones? What is the intent here?
To give two examples
I have a carnifex model with both sets of scything talons that come in its kit (one of which is slightly larger than the other) would that be razor claws + serrated claws if I use it as a Carnivo-Rex?
If i use a Trygon model as a Burrower would the large talons be serrated claws while the smaller mawloc type limbs would be razor claws?
Honestly just assemble the models the way you like them the best, and then use whatever upgrades you want for the model. Since this is a minis-agnostic game, it really doesn't matter which bits you use to represent different weapons.
