I've just found OPR and I'm loving the simplicity of the rules (should be getting a game of Grimdark happening once I finished a bit of painting) but I wondered about the possibilities of using AoFS to play games of Harry Potter? I love the miniatures that are available but the actual game leaves something to be desired. Is the magic system in AoFS detailed enough to represent various spells etc?

The point calculator comes with a huge list of magic spells that you can use, however they are generally best suited for combat with more models, and I get the feeling that with Harry Potter models you really want that one-on-one duel feeling. Because of that I would recommend to simply treat spells as ranged weapons, and give them different stats in order to represent different things. For example, a spell like "reducto" might use the blast rule, and a spell like "avada kadabra" might use the deadly rule.

Thanks, I'll have to spend a bit of time to see how spells/attacks will work but it sounds like like it might be possible.
