Wondering if anyone has already done the work for converting Bricky armies to a one page ruleset? My kid and I made up our own game that never quite worked, and is itching to play with his ninjago in a war.
I reccomend you try out Heroica, it was LEGO's short lived homage to HeroQuest and I think it's pretty fun, you can get the manuals and rules through the lego website on the wayback machine. For better, more expanded gameplay, there is Heroica Advanced, a fan made expansion of the basic rules by Jason Glover of Fairway 3 Games (it was actually one of his first game design projects, which is neat). These rules are not available on his website anymore, so again, the wayback machine is needed here. For ease of acquiring these rule sets, the optimal dates are somewhere between 2012 and 2013. The basic Heroica rules and instructions (which aren't immensely important, but useful none the less) are in the products tab of the LEGO Heroica page. I don't remember exactly where the advanced Heroica rules were on their site, but it wasn't that hard to find them. They were around the year 2013 in the archive. For actual wargaming, the above mentined WarStuff is probably the best for this.
