I just recently began playing OnePageRules Age of Fantasy. I play a few different historical and sci-fi/fantasy tabletop games. I really prefer the OPR over the current 40K edition and AoS. I like playing Bretonnia as it is the closest faction that my historical army can represent (Thematic Byzantines). Naturally, I ran my army as Chivalrous Kingdoms. One issue that I've ran into is the difficulty that I have against high wound models with 2+ saves. Recently, I played against my friend's Ratmen, who brought Storm Ogres, Giant Rat Ogre, and Death Wheel. Initially, the ridiculous amount of Impact hits do some damage against them, but the number of Impact hits dwindles quickly after Turn 1 or 2, especially since they are open to ranged attacks after their charge. How do I deal with armies who have multiple high wound, high save models? Do I just need to alpha strike and pray for the best?
Also, will they get bows for Light Cavalry? I would love to run my horse archers, but the army doesn't have any horse archer unit.

I use the stats from other armies if the army list I am using doesn't have what I need. The High Elves list has Light Cavalry with the option to upgrade the unit with bows. Age Of Fantasy is my 'go to' rules set at the moment and I prefer a lower fantasy setting so I find I often need to swap around some of the army lists to make the armies I want.

Also I combine the Chivalrous Kingdoms and the Humans into one army. I also combine the Orc, Goblin and Ogre army lists into one with bits and pieces from others thrown in as well, it works fine! Just combine what you like until you get the army you desire.

I used some wood elf units with high elves, and orcs with goblins. Since then I made my own lists, especially since my orcs and goblins are more tolkieny.
I am able to do most of what I want. I do think an occasional negative trait would help.

Good ways to deal with high wound, high save models as Chivalrous Kingdoms are units with Great Weapons, Halberds or Harpoons, as well as Trebuchets of course. Otherwise yes, trying to chip away at them with coordinated Lance Formation strikes is also a solid strategy. Last but not least, use a Wizard that casts Fireball or Leech. As for the Light Cavalry with bows, it's not something that really feels very in theme with the army, but you can get the unit from the Humans list.
