Have been thinking of a Warcry variant that uses a similar dice pool mechanic that is generic-ified to play with any fantasy models. Sorry if this has already being discussed, couldn't find anything other than arena but that's for underworlds style games... I look forward to seeing what GW do with the faction books for the game as I do have a small collection of a lot of different figs from AoS.
Other than burning up brain cells with thoughts on it I haven't written anything down yet. Do have a clever name, WarCults. These could be factions that represent the various gods, realms, elements, whatever. Organized into factions with faction specific special abilities and actions. Like I said, just brain storming.
Expanding upon this idea, I thought it could also be used for archetype D&D character classes, Warguilds? fighters guild versus thieves guild with appropriate special skills and actions. I just thought it would be cool for each class type to have unique fighting styles.
Just thought I'd share the idea. I suck badly as rules design and am hopeless with balance. I'll try myself to see if I can hack up some rules and maybe post here if they aren't total shit. JH
