There are no army lists specifically made for star wars, but I suppose you could use things such as the HDF list and the rebel list to represent it. Else there's always the point calculator to make up your own armies.
I'm working on a very rough draft for Star Wars using Grimdark Future rules. It's influenced by WEG, WotC, and FFG. I'm basically finished with Rebels and Empire, but I'm still working on neutrals and droid / ion rules. I should be posting it this week. I plan on posting battle reports using my WotC minis.
I'm still working on my lists. These will be posted in the Fan-Created Content folder. Everything will be under a different title, probably GF Stellar Conflicts. The units will have new names also. Big furry troops will be Mawgs (a tribute to Spaceballs). Small furry troopers will be Murder Bears. The main evil troops will be Stormsoldiers (or maybe something else). There will be many more untis, including a Slug Lord to lead the Crime Cartel troops.
I've been thinking about rules for droids and ion weapons. Here's some of what I have so far. I'm trying to keep it to one page rules, but droids and ion weapons require clear definitions.
Droid: cannot cross difficult terrain, may be stunned by ion weapons.
• Medical Droid: Each turn can revive one wounded model (or heal one wound on any model) within 2 inches. • Protocol Droid: can convince neutrals to assist if the droid's quality check is passed. • Astromech Droid: can reprogram/ activate/ shut down computers and droids if in base contact on a successful quality check. • Utility Droid: can engage in close combat if re-programmed. • Combat Droid: can engage in close combat. Can engage in ranged combat if equipped with a ranged weapon. • Power Droid: can de-ionize (remove stun status) from ionized droids and vehicles (once per turn, if in base contact).
Ion weapons: AP3 (maybe AP4?) vs. droids and vehicles. No AP vs. living creatures.
If a droid or a vehicle loses its final wound to an ion weapon, it is stunned. Stunned droids and vehicles are immobile and may not activate again until de-ionized. Stunned flying vehicles crash 1d6 inches in a random direction and are immediately destroyed.
I'm not sure about this (it may be overpowered): A stunned droid may roll its quality check at the beginning of its turn. A successful check means the droid is no longer stunned and may resume its normal operations immediately.
Questions, comments, and suggestions are welcome. I check these forums almost every day.
I like all the droid/ion rules you've come up with. I do think the quality check to recover from stunned is needed, as otherwise it'll make Power Droids mandatory versus Ion weaponry. One way to keep Ion weapons from getting out of control would be to limit their availability to select unit types. The Clumsy Amphibian army should probably have copious access to ion grenades and artillery, though. ;-)
EDIT: There is a document in the Fan-Made Content for Grimdark Firefight using Legion models. Did you see that?
Yes, I will use the quality check for stunned droids since we don't see many power droids walking around. Ion weapons will definitely be limited.
Seeing the GF Firefight rules for Legion is what originally gave me the idea to do this. I have TONS of Wizard of the Coast Star Wars minis and I want to use One Page Rules!
I'm only doing lists for the rebellion era (Freedom Fighters, Evil Imperium, and Neutrals), but anyone can feel free to add lists. The first version of the Evil Imperium list is going to be posted today in Fan-Made Content. I'm still typing my hand-written notes into Excel, and I'll probably update them later after they are posted online.
