Hello guys,
I took my time before post this, but it’s time to make it. I was an “old” wargamer. I'm really fed up by the way taken by GW; it don’t suits my style of play anymore. Since 9th ed drop I looked for something that suits better and make me happy again to play with my “toys”, with little succes, truly…
… til now!
This simple but elegant set of rules save all the fluff and the falvour of 40k universe paired with few rules that wont change every three weeks or so. Thank you guys for your job.
A happy (again) player

Welcome to the "club", I was in the same state of mind as you and since "OPR" I rediscovered the pleasure of playing "40k", and my group of friends too. You will also see that the system, although easy to access, conceals a lot of subtleties as you play. Have a good day and good games !.

After being exposed to tabletop wargaming through Wizkid's clix dial models, I have always been averse to delving into traditional wargames with their enormous rulebooks. OPR may be a way for me to maintain games which can be finished in the span of an evening. I am of the mind that simpler is better. Let the complexity of a game emerge from its foundational building blocks.
