I've been playing 40k and AoS for 2 - 3 years now and the new editions make me feel like I need to learn something new alllll over again, with power creep just getting harder and harder. A friend told me about one page rules and I read them recently, and I'm super interested in them, been looking to take my collection from storage and dust em off again.
My only issue is that I only have a dining table and I don't really have access to the full war gaming tables that the game calls for. Could someone tell me what they think of the kitchen table rules modification? I'd love to know a little bit more and hear from some peopel before I drop some money on a sub
Well. You go pretty far by saying the deployment zone is only 6". And that you need 24" apart. Then 35" is not much of an issue. Also you could have the option to move onto the board turn 1 for any unit that do not wish to deploy first turn.
Then I think you'll get a pretty standard one page experience still.
The width is not much of a issue.
You could also have 5 turn game with no units starting on the board and teleportation starts first turn 3.
