I miss being able to blue weapons of vehicles, or immobilise them.
Has anyone written vehicle damage tables before? Was thinking - when shooting at vehicles, 6s to hit are 'crits'. If not saved, roll on a table: 1-2 - stunned (counts as waivered) 3-4 - moves at half speed next turn, -1 to hit 5 - weapon destroyed 6 - immobilised.
I've been drawing up bracketing using the points calculator and weighted averages. 50% weight for the default Quality value, and 25% weights for Qua(-1) and Qua(-2). Its basically how [other game] does it, and it would work just as well if I added an effect like Slow into one or both of the lower brackets because of how weighted averaging works. Haven't tested it enough, but I think just dropping the Qua is enough for how the game is set up right now.
There is catastrophic damage like you're describing for vehicles and monsters in the full rulebooks, though, under Brutal Damage: System Damage.
