I was wondering if I choose to have a Elven Noble join up with my Scorpion squad do they still get the benefits of the scout rule? I don't see anything specifically saying that every model in the unit has to have the rule for it to work but also nothing saying that a hero joining a unit benefits from its abilities. I'm wondering what the RAI are on this.

Scout is an all-or-nothing rule like Ambush. Seems like a bit of an oversight, I can bring it up. He added Shield Wall for Inquisition heroes when it was brought up that Crusaders couldn't effectively have heroes in the unit, so he will maybe change this.

Thanks! I have a similar conundrum for fearless. Do wraithsuits not benefit from fearless if a hero joins them?

You can use the highest Quality available for checking morale. Hero quality is a "may use" not "must use"

Yes but regardless of whose quality you use the whole unit no longer has the fearless rule, just the wraithsuit guys.

Okay, but you can use 2+ Quality from Fearless to use for morale test. Unit having Hero does not change that
