I'm a little unclear as to how to apply the affects of of wounds generated by Dug In and Impact for morale checks Do they trigger a morale check before the main attack? In this case would it act like a melee or ranged morale check, in other words routing potential or just pinning?
Are they added to the wounds total for determining the winner of the melee? Do they apply in some other way or not at all? The simplest way would probably be to add it to the wounds total at the end, but I can see an argument, especially for Dug In, to apply it before the main attack. Somebody in your squad stepping on a landmine would probably make even hardened veterans think twice before charging in. Wondering what the intent was and/or what the community thinks. Second part of the question Units with the Undead or Robot trait never fail morale checks, instead have the potential to take more wounds. So if I'm reading this right It takes a new test whenever it takes additional wounds.
If they roll a wound on their morale check that wound would trigger another morale check in which they could roll another wound triggering another morale check and so on. Is that the intent? Thematically it makes sense, but recursive rolls like these could be pretty devastating to both of these armies.

Terrain tests apply beforehand, Impact rolls happens at the same time as all other defense rolls. Morale only happens once during melee, at the end.
No, Undead / Robot don't trigger multiple tests

So if I understand your response, both Dug In and Impact count as occurring during the melee and so all wounds taken would from either would count towards the winner of the fight.
For the Undead/Robot rules that certainly makes the most sense. If that is the case I'd recommend changing the wording of the rules to reflect that. Unless I missed something, which is entirely possible, it currently doesn't.
Changing from for each result of 1-2 the unit takes one wound, which can’t be regenerated
To for each result of a 1-2 the unit takes one wound. Wounds taken this way can't be regenerated or cause morale checks.
