Hi I have a question about the general terms: Deal x hit Takes x hit Takes x automatic hit You can find them over all opr games. In spells, special rules, basic rules ...
In which case i have to roll "to hit and then defence" and when only "to defence"
Best regards.

Hello,
If a spell (like Destroyer) or ability (like Impact) deal hits/automatic hits, you just roll for defence.

But why are the differece when meaning the same.
For example the wording in spells. First you have a 4+ spell with Deals x automatic hits and two spells later it calls you to Deal x hits, without the "automatic"
In all other rule texts the wording is so perfect and now, not on this "it doesnt matter"? I cant imagine that.

Whilst I would like to be able to put "automatic hit/wound" everywhere for clarify, sometimes there are space constraints, so I omit the word "automatic". They are, however, the same thing.
