Hi, I have been playing the game with a friend testing a big variety of armies to see how is the game. So far I love it, but have a couple points I would like to discuss.
- wood elves: you can get 10 guardians with rapid fire and an eternal leader with battle call. 20 arrows per turn at 30’ at 2+. Seems too much, because destroys every unit it finds… or 3 units with that of 10 members each. Suggest to make it for mele only or just +1
- catapults: most catalults do a single shot at 5+. If it hits, makes blast 6 which is nice, but been a couple times thats has done nothing, failed every turn… wasted 90 points, where I could have put any other thing. Don’t know how to fix it… maybe with a chance to repeat the dice?
-monsters: most of them have 12 wounds with great defense and some with regeneration. How can we defeat them? We hardly can… in grimdark future I see many weapons that has de deadly rule to destroy tanks, but here it is hard to find. My suggestion is to make a unit per army with that rule. Many units have a rule against monsters, that increases their AP, but not the deadly. We have checked and it is not enough, maybe with deadly 2 could be solved.
-magic: is anyone using it? I know it is not expensive, but you have a chance to try to cast a spell per turn (where most of them are too expensive to cast) or pay a bit extra to get an hability that will be executet for sure. What if you get a chance to cast another spell if the first one failed? A friend couldn’t cast a spell with his frog-mage in 3 rounds…
These are my suggestions/view, if you have any other view, it will be welcome, but would like to see your opinion on these things.
