When trying to make a custom unit and weapon profile, is it rules legal to combine both Blast and Deadly onto a single Weapon. If so, is there clarification on the way it should work.
I am thinking of some large artillery cannon or such, it would have say blast 6 and deadly 3.
From rules 2.16 Blast: This weapon hits are multiplied by X, however it can't deal more than one hit per model in the target unit.
Deadly. Multiply the amount of wounds suffered by X.
So if my idea is allowed then would a hit from the weapon inflict up to 6 hits that cause 3 wounds each.
Thanks and Keep up the great work, really love the game!

yep. it's not very useful, so you shouldn't really do it. will almost never hit full effect with either half of the rules. its why all the ones in the old versions of the game don't exist anymore

Combining Blast and Deadly is only acceptable against a single type of target, size[3] tough(3) units and even there you get your max leverage with Blast(3)+Deadly(3), maybe Blast(6) against the combined version. Against any other type of target you either lose out on Blast or Deadly, so having more Attacks instead of Deadly or Blast is the way better way to design the weapon without making it an instant non-pick.
