It's ready when its ready. It was never set for Q2. There was no "due" at all. Can somebody who's not a snarky twat ask the question next time?

An honest question met by rude answers. The rude people are spoiling this forum. We see ill-mannered exchanges every week on here. It's the same small number of people, and it's been called out before.

Bs I will answer that question exactly the same way the next time it is asked, because that is the official answer to questions for release dates: When it's ready. The only release schedule is the roadmap for the model and that is only for 3 month, everything else comes when it's ready. The only things we have vague knowledge is that GF:FTL will come to public beta testing in around 5 months, everything else is just wild guessing or personal opinions. I also don't appreciate it getting called a "snarky twat" for delivering the official answers to questions. |

To be honest, the subsequent answers were much more helpful and I would have been happy with that. The initial responses give the thinly veiled vibe of "piss off and don't ask questions." I have noticed a couple of posters are very unwelcoming on this forum and really ruin the tone and make it a pretty unwelcoming environment. Which is not what we want for a community we want to grow? I take back the "twat" part because that was rash on my part but I stand solidly by the snarky part. |

I cannot comment on the repliers as I am but a Junior here, so they have to comment themselves if they wish.
Just a caveat - I have been on the interwebz and forumz for too long now, so perhaps I am a bit thick-skinned and don't judge by the cover. On the other hand I try to be friendly when I can, so... there you go :-)

Is there actually the plan creating a OPR ruleset like game for Epic? (aka Space Marine, Epic 40k, Armageddon what ever)
I always liked that alot and still got an Army.
Just wondering if there is an "official" rulest coming or it is made by fans here in the forum.
NOT asking for schedules, just beeing curious. I think that is a huge bunch of work. So many armies and units.
I know that is not as popular as 28mm Tabletop but those... well epic battles always got me.

Yes, it is in the works, but on halt right now, and there is already a very early playtest version or proof of concept available for Patreons on the Discord that shows what direction is intended.

That's actually a really helpful answer and worlds away from the crappy answer you gave me. I hope you're not affiliated with OPR because you have lost what would have been an eager new Patreon subscriber bringing a few extra Pounds/Dollars/Euros a month. |

There's a big difference between (paraphrased): "When it's ready" And "It's not ready yet, it's on hold, here's where you can find out a little more about it." I wasn't expecting hugs and kisses. Just not the equivalent of "Computer says no." Again, it appears like you and the other rude responder are in some way affiliated with OPR and you're not putting up a good front. Even if this is a relatively low traffic forum, it's still a way to attract new players and Patreon members. |
