How do YOU play OPR?

I personally stumbled onto OPR by chance.  I recently picked up the excellent Blackstone Fortress and both my boys and I decided we’d like to try casual wargaming.  Kill Team seemed a logical entry and while that game is very accessible I still found that I spent far too much time flicking through the rulebook or doing searches online to clarify rules. My boys, both being part of the Xbox/Playstation generation were obviously loosing interest so I considered trying to modify the Blackstone Fortress mechanics (activation dice/wounds etc) into a skirmish game.  Unfortunately that didnt convert as well as I liked so I decided to search for a simple ruleset that still provided some depth.  As luck would have it One Page Rules Grimdark Future Firefight soon came to my attention and we have not looked back.  Both me and the boys are so happy with OPR that I decided to become a Patreon and I currently waiting on on access to the full rulebook, secret forum, and points calculations to build my own Adeptus Arbites/Judge Dredd inspired ‘Justicer’ list.
